Nakambala Headstocks
Sonkor was awarded the tender to replace the existing headstocks. We took it a step forward and decided to redesign and refine where we felt there were weak points such as the webs and adding in stainless steel liners to prevent wear.
Multi Misalignment Coupling
Swazi Multi Misalignment Coupling
Sonkor was awarded the tender to replace the existing multi mis-alignment couplings. We used our simple designed coupling which incorporates a sling system should one break, the coupling is held back by the second sling to avoid colliding.
Refurbishments
Hippo Valley Gearwheel
Sonkor is currently in the phase of machining a low speed gearwheel made out of BS 3100 Grade A3 for Hippo valley with machine cut-teeth & key wayed according to the customers requirements.
