Cane Preparation

Heavy Duty Vertical Shredder
Installed at the end of the cane preparation line and aims at achieving high preparatory index and maximising sugar recovery. The shredder has a feed distributor or cane knife at the top. For the protection of the rotor and hammers from tramp iron, large rocks & stones, the anvil is hinged and located in a strategic location.

Short Retention Time Clarifier
Short Retention Time Clarifier filters the mud from the treated juice that is obtained during the cane clarification process. Owing to its trayless design, this clarifier has a reduced retention time and cuts sugar losses, which makes it the ideal choice to replace the multi-tray Clarifiers.

Evaporation

Roberts & Kestner Evaporator

Cail and FletcherÔÇÖs Roberts and Kestner evaporators are of the rising film type ÔÇô the purpose of this evaporator is to concentrate the juice from the purification station and send the syrup to the crystallization station. The vapour is then distributed by the evaporation station to the various components of the plant.

Fives Cail-KCP Falling Film Evaporator

The Cail & Fletcher Falling Film Evaporator is designed for beet, cane sugar plants and refineries. The purpose of this evaporator is to concentrate the juice from the purification station and send the syrup to the crystallization station. The vapour is then distributed by the evaporation station to the various components of the plant.
